At InVia Fertility, our board certified reproductive endocrinologists offer a wide range of reproductive care, including:
Assisted Reproductive Technologies is a general term referring to methods used to achieve pregnancy by artificial or partially artificial means.
Assisted Reproductive Technologies offered by InVia include:
Gestational Surrogacy: Surrogacy is an arrangement in which a woman carries and delivers a child for another couple or person. This woman, the surrogate mother, may be the child's genetic mother (called traditional surrogacy), or she may be genetically unrelated to the child (called gestational surrogacy). A gestational surrogacy requires the implantation of a previously created embryo, and for this reason the process always takes place in a clinical setting.
Ovulation Induction is the stimulation of ovulation by medication(s).
Recurrent Pregnancy Loss refers to the occurrence of three or more consecutive losses of clinically recognized pregnancies prior to the 20th week of gestation. In the U.S., many fertility experts will start investigations and treatment after two losses.
Reproductive Surgery is using surgery in the field of reproductive medicine. Reproductive surgery in the female can include treating blocked fallopian tubes.
In the male it can include treating vas deferens obstruction (vasectomy reversal).
